Global Design Project #GDP012

The latest Global Design Project is "CASE the Designer" and I'm so nervous to be CASE-ing the amazingly talented and lovely Brian King! I'm hoping to meet him one day but in the meantime I'll just have to be happy with online communication! I've used the Merry Moments DSP and the Oh, What Fun and Watercolor Wings Stamp sets. The gold spots at the bottom are done with a stamp from the Watercolor Wings and gold embossed. I've got a few sneak peeks coming so I'll be back soon - Angela

OnStage Swap

Well today has been much better than yesterday - thank goodness! I managed to accomplish quite a bit which always helps. Here is my OnStage Swap I promised. OnStage was such a great day - hard to believe it was almost a week ago! The forecast tomorrow is for rain - I'm kind of hoping it does so I can spend some time in my craft room "guilt free"! Have a great weekend - Angela

Global Design Project - Christmas Theme

Ok whose idea was it to get up this morning? It has been one of those days - I just couldn't get out of my own way and to top it off my phone has been playing up so this photo is a copy of a copy of a copy! As soon as I've finished this post I'm off to bed!   I used this layout for my card swap at the Onstage event in Auckland last weekend and decided I'd use it again for the GDP. I'll post a photograph of that card soon (unless my phone has been thrown out the window before then!) So it's goodnight from me - back soon - Angela x

Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge

#GDP010 This week the Global Design Project challenge is a Sketch, created by the very talented Teneale Williams. I made a start on this last night and finished it at 5.30 this morning - crazy I know! Am off to Auckland tomorrow till Monday and didn't want to miss a GDP!   I'll be back after Auckland - happy Show Weekend for those in Canterbury - Angela x

Thank You Global Design Project and Mojo Monday!

Yes thank you for inspiring and challenging me! I don't know why but I struggled to put Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron together which is crazy because I love these colours so my first few attempts didn't "make the cut". It was great using the Mojo Monday layout - it gave me back my mojo! I'm off to Auckland next week for Stampin' Up! On Stage 2015 - I really must start on my swaps and by start I mean come up with an idea first! I'm having an extra few days up there staying with a dear friend who I flatted with in England many moons ago - it will be fun catching up! Have a great week and I'll be back soon - Angela I leave you with a few photos from our fabulous Christmas Extravaganza last Saturday.    Here are the supplies I used for my card: Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

Casing Kylie!

Global Design Project #GDP008 Where have the last eight weeks gone? It's going to be Christmas before we know it! Here is my entry for the eighth Global Design Project. This week it's a CASE which by their definition means Copy and Selectively Edit - so you can be inspired by anything on the card and then make it your own. I chose the colours - Tip Top Taupe, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry Delightful Dijon and Very Vanilla. I love butterflies - I have six stamp sets with butterflies! They seem to have endless possibilities and look great in any colour!  Yay it's a short week but so much to do - we're having a Stampin' Up! Day on Saturday with over 30 guests - as always it will be lots of fun and everyone will leave with a stash of completed projects, attendance gift and prizes for the lucky ones! Hopefully I'll remember to take photographs to post.   Take care and have an awesome week - Angela x   Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog ...

My Little Farm Yard!

Talk about leaving it to the last minute ... I was determined not to let a GDP challenge go without making a entry so this morning I grabbed a cup of tea and headed for my craft room! Without a farm animal stamp in sight I put this card in a box together! I think it's kinda cute! Now I had better go have breakfast and get ready for the day - it's a long weekend here so even though I have to work today I get Monday off - yay!

Third Time Lucky!

Okay so this is the third time I have tried to write this post - clearly somebody is trying to tell me something! I've used the same layout and the same DSP to make the following cards for two different challenges. Pals Paper Arts The Paper Players Stampin' Up! have such beautiful papers it's a shame to cover them up. I'm off now don't want to redo this post for a fourth time! See you soon - Angela

CYCI - Design Team Member pick!

I can't believe it my Halloween card was picked on CYCI! It's so cool to be picked - my achievements are usually lived vicariously through my children so it's nice to be on the receiving end! The All Blacks are playing the French at the moment and we are well in the lead so it looks like a win for us - Proud to be a Kiwi! Have a Happy Sunday - Angela!

Global Design Project meets English Garden

Global Design Project #GDP006 I was going to say Hello Monday then I realised it was Tuesday! I've been looking at all the fabulous cards on the GDP and of course it's still Monday on the other side of the world. So Hello Tuesday! Between clients today I managed to put together a card for this week's challenge. After yesterday's card with the English Garden Designer Series Paper I was still in a pink mode so I decided to stick with that.   So now I've got time for a cup of tea before I start working again - no rest for the wicked!   See you again soon Angela x
