ARTISAN SKETCHED BIRTHDAY CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week’s Facebook Live card features two new favourites: the Eyelet Blooms Dies and the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper. The soft, sketchy florals in the Designer Series Paper pair beautifully with the delicate eyelet detail, creating a fresh, layered look without much else. A simple sentiment strip and a few finishing touches were all it took to bring the design together. VALLEY IN BLOOM BIRTHDAY CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

For this week’s Facebook Live, I created this Fancy Fold using the Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper. This Fancy Fold is a great way to showcase any Designer Series Papers. The Designer Series Paper creates a soft, fresh look with lily‑of‑the‑valley imagery. The green and white palette keeps everything light and elegant, with the “Happy Birthday” sentiment as the finishing touch. A quick, pretty design that works for so many occasions. For this week’s Facebook Live, I reached for the Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack, and it reminded me why I enjoy working with these packs so much. They take the pressure out of designing and let you jump straight into creating somet hing beautiful. This card was inspired by one my Alaskan friend, Teri West, created. Here’s the card I shared on tonight’s Facebook Live. I used the Layers of Beauty Stamp Set, Masks and Dies. It is such a lovely reminder of how easy it can be to achieve an "artistic" look with the right products. The Layers of Beauty Stamp Set, along with the coordinating masks and dies, really do all the hard work for you. The layering technique with the colours, creates depth and softness that feels almost hand-painted - without needing any special colouring skills. I chose a gentle, feminine colour palette of Petal Pink, Calypso Coral and Soft Sea Foam. These colours blend beautifully together and give the florals a fresh, elegant feel. The sentiment "Grateful for You" felt like the perfect finishing touch, paired with a few gold embellishments and white Baker's Twine for added texture.
