Welcome to July's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is Sale-A-Bration, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.  The Stylish Sketches Stamp Set was my first pick of the Sale-A-Bration items this time! I love the images and possibilities with this set. For my card I started with a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock, then stamped and embossed the image in gold. I water-coloured the background with Crumb Cake and the image in Blackberry Bliss and Evening Evergreen. The result reminds me of fabric! I added the splatters with the Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Marker and the ribbon was cut through the center to create a double bow. I also added a couple of gold dots! Next up in today's hop is my lovely and inspirational friend Louise in Australia. I always look forward to seeing the gorgeous creations Louise has to share with us. Be Inspire

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a Colour Challenge and the colours we are using are Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss and Soft Sea Foam. I have to admit when I first saw the colour combination I wasn't at all sure what I wanted to create. Once I came up with an idea and saw it coming together I fell in love with the colours - even Blackberry Bliss which is a colour I seldom use! The Happiness Abounds Stamp Set has these stunning rose images that are perfect for water-colouring and they have co-ordinating dies which saves fussy cutting! I chose the largest flowers but there are other floral images in the set. Water-colouring does take some patience but the end result is definitely worth it. Adding the flowers to a blended background softened the look and the touch of Wink of Stella in the centre of the flowers added a little sparkle. Would you like to be on the Global Design Team as a Guest Designer for the following colour challenge? Pla

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a Case the Designer challenge and we are caseing Susan Wong's gorgeous card below. I took the inspiration for my card from Susan's layout, I love how it flows down the card. I also picked some colours and the embellishments.  I felt a bit bad when I got my Color & Contour Stamp Set out and realised I hadn't used it yet! When I started creating with it I wondered why it had taken me so long to use it! It's a lovely set. I stamped the floral image and die cut it the various different colours then added to a base I had embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Like Susan had done, I splattered ink on the background and also added the sentiment over a swirl of White Baker's Twine. This is a great layout and one I think I will use again. Thanks for the inspiration Susan. For a step by step tutorial on how I created my card please click on the Tutorial button. All products are
