DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 1

Tuesday 21 November 2017 I'm soooooo excited to be hopping today with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world! We all received product from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalogue to create samples to display at our OnStage events for other demonstrators to view and now we are sharing these with you.   Over the next seven days we'll be bringing you lots of inspiration and ideas - you will not want to miss a single day! You may have arrived from amazingly talented Dani Dziama or if you are starting here continue around the hop using the next button at the end of this post.   With these cards I simply cut a piece of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper 7.2 x 7.2 cm which I layered onto a piece of 7.4 x 7.4 cm Basic Black cardstock, then adhered to a Whisper White card base (7.6 x 15.2 cm and scored at 7.6).     The sentiments are from the Petal Palette stamp set and are stamped in Basic Black ink and attached using d...

CASEING THE CATTY #155 CASE GIFT PACKAGING

Sunday 19 November 2017 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop and our challenge to CASE a gift packaging project. I've chosen to CASE the mini pizza box on page 3 of the Holiday Catalogue which features the Host stamp set "Seasons of Whimsy".   You may be starting here or hopping over from Rebecca Scurr's lovely project. The next button at the bottom of the post will take you around the hop and you won't want to miss any! A piece of the Year of Cheer Specialty DSP has been used to cover the lid of the box, I made sure to cut it so that the squares lay evenly on the lid! The sparkly edge and Joy stamps were gold embossed onto Whisper White cardstock then cut using the Layering Circles and Stitched Shaped Framelits respectively. I popped then both up with dimensionals.   The bow is one of the wood pieces from the Christmas Around the World Embellishments that I've rubbed Versamark ink over then sprinkled with gold em...

STAMPIN' DREAMS BLOG HOP

Thursday 16 November 2017     Hello and welcome to the latest Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. If you are hopping with us today you may have arrived from Debbie Henderson from the USA or if you are just starting here there's a list at the end of this post to continue on the hop. I hope you enjoy my project which showcases my "Favourite Technique". The "Edging Technique" as I named it, is when you outline the edge of a solid stamp. You can do this with a Stampin' Marker or the edge of a ink pad. For the leaves on this card I stamped them in Lemon Lime Twist, drew around them with the Always Artichoke Stampin' Marker, gave the stamp a "huff" then stamped it. For more versions of this technique please click on the following link:    http://stampingbeauty.blogspot.co.nz/2016/11/oh-my-goodness-where-to-start.html And here's the link to a tutorial I mad...

CASEING THE CATTY #154 CASE A COLOURING PROJECT

Sunday 12 November 2017     Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Today my project is a Birthday Card CASED from page 166 of the Annual Catalogue. I've chosen the card with the tea pot and cup from the main photograph.     You may be starting here or hopping over from Rebecca Scurr's gorgeous card. The next button at the bottom of the post will take you around the hop and you won't want to miss any!     The Just Add Color Specialty DSP is full of gorgeous images to colour and the paper can take a lot of water - trust me! For my card I've used Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, and Pear Pizzazz inks and cardstock. The washi tape is from the Basics Pack 3 and the lovely scalloped edge is made using the new Ticket Tear Board punch. Happy Birthday is Hostess Set - In the City.     Of course it does entail some fussy cutting too!   Enjoy the hop, there's always so much inspiration from my talented crew m...

CRAZY CRAFTERS BLOG HOP

Sunday 12 November 2017 Hello and welcome. I am so excited to be this week's Guest Designer on Kylie Bertucci’s Crazy Crafters Team Blog Hop. The Crazy Crafters will be CASE-ing (Copy and Selectively Edit) one of my previous projects and making it their own. I'm also CASE-ing myself!   This is my card that I've chosen to CASE:   I love making these little cards and teamed with the 3" x 3" envelopes they fit perfectly in the Mini Pizza Boxes. They make a great gift. And here's my CASE: The background paper is from the Coffee Break Designer Series and the feathers are from the Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Whisper White stitched square is from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. These framelits are so versatile and always look so stylish! I coloured one feather in Soft Sky to co-ordinate with the Coffee Break DSP and the other in Powder Pink. Little banners in co-ordinating cardstock tie in the colours, ...

Sunday 5 November 2017   Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. The Season's Greetings sentiment (also from the Cheers to the Year stamp set) has been stamped in Pool Party to co-ordinate with the shimmer ribbon onto another tag then a piece of Gold Metallic Thread has been used to tie the ribbon at the top of the tag.     Every C...

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 111 | THEME CHALLENGE

Saturday 4 November 2017     Hello and welcome to my blog. Today's card is for this week's "Family Time" Theme Challenge on the Global Design Project #GDP111.     What better way to celebrate family time than with the arrival of a new baby!     The background DSP is from the Petal Garden stack. I picked out the Calypso Coral and Pool Party from this paper then added Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango for my stamping and embellishments.     I haven't used my Little One stamp set in a while so it was a welcome change from Christmas projects! The white label is from the Lots of Labels Framelits (with one end cut off) then embossed with the Sparkle folder.   If you want to see more "Family Time" themed projects check out the Global Design Project blog to see what everyone's created.

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 110 | SKETCH CHALLENGE

Monday 30 October 2017 Hello and welcome to my blog. Today's card is for the Global Design Project #GDP110 Sketch Challenge and here's the sketch that inspired my card.    I love sketch challenges and this one is no exception. With Christmas just 8 weeks away I need to get a move on with making and sending my Christmas cards so it was a great opportunity to make a Christmas card.    As it was such a fun and easy card to make, it would be perfect to make a pile of at once. The products I've used for my card are from the Year of Cheer Suite, which showcases intricate designs, elegant foil - perfect metallic projects!   The Cheers to the Year stamp set also covers the New Year and Weddings making it a versatile set.   Thanks for stopping by today and if you'd like more ideas using this sketch be sure to head over to the Global Design Project blog.
