BEGONIA BELLE BEST WISHES CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week's Facebook Live featu red a br ight and cheerful floral card using the beautiful Begonia Belle Stamp Set. I created the design by stamping the blooms and leaves in a fresh combination of vibrant colours to create a striking all-over background.  To finish the card, I added a simple white twine bow, a sentiment banner and a few embellishments. BE INSPIRED | CREATING BACKGROUNDS

It's time for another Be Inspired Design Team Hop, and this month's theme is Creating Backgrounds! Backgrounds can completely transform a card, adding texture, colour and interest while letting your focal image shine. I'm excited to share my project with you, and I can't wait to see all the creative ideas the rest of the team has come up with, too. Be sure to hop all the way around and visit each designer for plenty of inspiration and fresh ideas. I hope you discover a few new techniques to try! I created my background using the tiny floral die-cuts from the beautiful Violet Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper . Each little flower has been carefully arranged to form a delicate, textured background, with a touch of Wink of Stella added to the centres for a subtle shimmer. STAMPIN' UP! LILY OF THE VALLEY BIRTHDAY CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week's Facebook Live featu red this soft and elegant birthday card, showcasing the beautiful Lily of the Valley Dies. I love the delicate white flowers paired with softly blended green leaves against the subtle blue background. The Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder adds texture without overwhelming the design, while the layered die-cut details and a few embellishments bring everything together beautifully. It's a simple colour palette that lets the intricate die-cutting shine and creates a card that's perfect for birthdays or any special occasion. HYDRANGEA HUE BLOSSOMS CARD TUTORIAL | FACEBOOK LIVE

This week's Facebook Live featured this card, which combines the soft blue tones of Hydrangea Hue, the delicate patterned papers of the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper, embossed texture from the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder and some touches of gold. The layered flowers and simple "Hugs" sentiment make it suitable for so many occasions. A Little Change of Plans ... I had originally planned to recreate the card shown in this tutorial; however, my new Product of the Month stamp set arrived just in time, and I couldn't resist giving it a try instead! The layout and techniques are exactly the same, but I swapped out the focal image for the new stamp set.
