Sunday 10 September 2017 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing the Merry Little Christmas Suite (pg 10-19) of the Holiday Catalogue. You may be starting here or hopping over from our Guest Designer this week Siobhan Fitzsimmons , it’s lovely to have you hopping with us! I've chosen to CASE the card at the bottom of this page. I love this new Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper - to me it's a bit non-traditional with the black but I think it's striking and makes such a bold statement. I loved this Season to Sparkle stamp set the moment I saw it. There are so many possibilities with all the cute little images and sentiments that go with this chandelier I can't wait to play with it some more! How cute is that little Old Olive enamel star? It co-ordinates perfectly with the Merry Little Christmas DSP. Stampin' Up!® certainly mak...

Friday 8 September 2017 Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project #103 Theme Challenge : For Him! It's my husband's birthday next month so I'm pleased to have made this card for him and now feel very organised for once! He loves coffee so this Coffee Break DSP is perfect. I fussy cut the takeaway coffee cup, plunger and cup from the Designer Series Paper. I love papers like this - and as you know I'm a happy little fussy cutter. Make sure you head on over to the Global Design Project blog to check out all the male cards this week - lots of fabulous ideas from the team and all the entries. I hope you have a lovely weekend. My sister and niece are here from Melbourne so we've got a weekend packed full of catching up with friends and family!

CASEing the Catty #144 Quilted Christmas
Sunday 3 September 2017 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Today my card is from the Quilled Christmas section (pages 4-9) of the new Holiday Catalogue. This week I've chosen to CASE the card on the left hand side with the little cotton reels on it. The wreath and sentiment are from the "Feeling of Christmas" stamp set (pg 16 of the Holiday Catalogue). The sentiment was in a block but I wanted it to go across so I did a bit of blocking out to get it in a row. The Be Merry Designer Series Paper is from the Annual Catalogue. I coloured the wreath in using the co-ordinating colours of Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green. And I love how the doily pokes out just a little bit at each end of the wreath! Enjoy the blog hop - there are lots of fabulous projects to inspire and admire! Next on the blog hop is the very talented Krissy. And as always we'd love you to play along, you can join the challenge here: Have a fab...

This is my first hop with this fabulous group of demonstrators and we are featuring Stampin' Up! products from the new 2017 Holiday Catalogue. Make sure you visit everyone - there're lots of great projects and you won't want to miss any! I've used the lovely "Feeling of Christmas" stamp set with Designer Series Paper from the Merry Music Specialty and the Merry Little Christmas packs. I've coloured the berries in with Cherry Cobbler and added a touch of Fine-Tip Glue to each one to give it some dimension and shine. There are little Christmas ornaments on the wreath and I've stuck a Crushed Curry Enamel Shape on each one. A bow in Silver co-ordinates with the Silver Glimmer Paper at each side of the DSP. Now hop on over to Rachael Lewsley, her creations are super cute. Blog Hop Participant List ...

Global Design Project 102 | Sketch Challenge & All Star Tutorial Bundle
Friday 1 September 2017 I'm so excited to share that my card was picked as the winner of last week's s Global Design Project #101 Colour Challenge, which means I'll be the Guest Designer for the next colour challenge. I can hardly wait! Here's my winning card: And now for this week's Sketch Challenge: I love sketch challenges! Ever wondered how people come up with their card colours etc? I based this card's colours on a friend's outfit! She was wearing navy with a gorgeous pink blouse and I loved how it looked so I grabbed all my navy and pink products and set about trying to achieve that look! I used Pink Pirouette for the base, Night of Navy washi tape from the Basics Pack 3, Night of Navy and Flirty Flamingo inks for the stamping and the Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine. We won't mention the retired Flirty Flamingo enamel shapes though! The stamp set I used is "Little O...

CASEing the Catty #143 Artistic Expression
Sunday 27 August 2017 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Today's project is from the Artistic Expression section (pages 132-181) of the Annual Catalogue. This week I've chosen to CASE the Celebrate Banner on page 179. I needed a new banner for my display board showcasing one of the new Designer Series Papers so it was great to take this opportunity to make one. I used the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper for the banners then layered an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The letters have been stamped in Pool Party with the "Letters for You" stamp set and cut using the Large Letters Framelits Dies. A string of 1" Gold Foil circles finishes off the banner. It was such a fun project and looks great on my display board. Next on the blog hop is the talented Alisa Tilsner, you won't want to miss her cool cards! ...

Global Design Project 101 | Colour Challenge
Friday 25 August 2017 Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project #101 Colour Challenge. As it is a Colour Challenge there's a chance to be selected as a Guest Designer for the next colour challenge. I would love that! Here are this week's challenge colours: These colours look great together and I really enjoyed using them to create my card. Have you tried the new washi tape? I love they way they have grouped it in colours - so user friendly and the designs are really cute. For the background I used the embossing paste coloured with a small amount of Bermuda Bay ink. This is such a fun product to use! The feathers are from the Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper and I've coloured them in with Night of Navy and Flirty Flamingo. I used my Aqua Pen with lots of water, going over it several times and this DSP handles it really well. Happy Birthday ...

Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
Thursday 24 August 2017 Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop for August. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The theme this month is an "Inspiration Photo" and here's what Jessie Holton has for us! Please hop around the list at the bottom to check out all the wonderful projects created this month. I love the colours in this tube of cleanser, they're fresh and bright and the background instantly brought the new Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue to mind! I chose Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Lemon Lime Twist and Melon Mambo as my colours to match the photograph and used my new Season to Sparkle stamp set - also from the new Holiday Catalogue. I heat embossed the chandelier in white and then coloured it with the smooshing technique! This technique is so much fun and I can't wait to try it some more. My absolute favourite item in the Holida...
