STAMPIN' UP! ARTISAN BLOG HOP - CARRY OVER EVENT!

Welcome to our May Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop where this month we are featuring products that have Carried Over into the new 2019-2020 Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. I love seeing my favourite sets return - it means I can enjoy them some more along with the new ones!

Would you like to have a card class with the Artisan Design Team? Well that's exactly what we are doing this month! Hop along to join in our card classes this month using sets that have Carried Over. As always I can guarantee there will be lots of inspiration and gorgeous projects.

For my class I'm featuring the Buffalo Check Stamp and combining it with the Garage Gears dies for a masculine card, and the Healing Hugs Stamp Set for a female card.

I've also used the Well Said and Perennial Birthday Stamp Sets for my sentiments and dies from the Lovely Leaves Edgelits Dies.

Grab the supplies listed at the bottom and let's start!

 Happy Birthday Garage Card

  1. Cut a piece of Basic Black in half to create the card base, score and fold in half.
  2. Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in the Stamparatus, line up the Buffalo Check stamp, ink it up using the Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp.
  3. Using the Basic Black Stampin' Marker or Stampin' Blends add a fine line between the checks.
  4. Trim image to 9.4 x 13.8cm and layer onto a piece of 9.6 x 14cm Silver Foil Cardstock.
  5. Wrap a piece of Linen Thread (80cm) around the layers, tie a knot, add two mini silver metal embellishments from the Classic Garage Metal Elements,  tie a bow, then adhere to the card base.
  6. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Well Said Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and trim. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals.
  7. Die cut the gears from the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies in Basic Black Cardstock and adhere to the card front.

Happy Birthday Hugs Card

  1. Cut a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock in half to create the card base, score and fold in half.
  2. Place a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in the Stamparatus, line up the Buffalo Check stamp, ink it up using the Highland Heather Classic Stampin' Pad and stamp.
  3. Trim image to 9.4 x 13.8cm and layer onto a piece of 9.6 x 14cm Basic Black Cardstock. Adhere to the card base.
  4. Stamp Happy Birthday from the Perennial Birthday Stamp Set onto a 2 x 10cm piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Trim end using the Banner Triple Punch and adhere to card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  5. Stamp the floral image from the Healing Hugs Stamp Set and fussy cut. Add Dimensionals to the back, add Silver Metallic Thread (1m) and adhere to the card front.
  6. Die cut three leaves from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies in Basic Black Cardstock and adhere, tucking in under the flower.
  7. Colour three of the seven Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blends and adhere to the card front.
Please tag me if you make them, I'd love to see your cards.
