BE INSPIRED | COLOUR THEORY - TRIADIC

The Be Inspired Design Team are hopping today and our theme this month is "Colour Theory - Triadic". You may have come from my fabulous friend Carolynn, did you love her colour combination? I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop around for inspirational projects by the design team.  I used the gorgeous new Layers of Beauty Stamp Set and co-ordinating masks to create my card for this month's hop. The colours in my Colour Theory Triadic are Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo. Using the colour wheel for colour combinations is a great way to try something new or if you are stuck for ideas, challenge yourself! I love adding a splattering of White Pigment Ink to create some added interest and light. It's my parent's wedding anniversary next month and I'm pleased to have a card ready! BE INSPIRED | COLOUR THEORY - MONOCHROMATIC

The Be Inspired Design Team are hopping today and our theme this month is "Colour Theory - Monochromatic". I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease hop all around for many inspirational projects the design team has created.  I chose blues for my monochromatic colour scheme and teamed it with gold! I started with a Night of Navy card base then added a Boho Blue blended background to a piece of Fluid 100 Paper. I love blending on this paper. The flowers, from the Simply Zinnia Stamp Set and Dies, have been gold embossed and then water-coloured with Misty Moonlight. I die-cut a few leaves and flowers to add more coordinating gold elements.
