Thank you to everyone who joined me for my Facebook Live on Wednesday evening, where I created this Christmas card. It features products from the Neutral Noel Suite, and the design is based on a sketch created for the Neutral Noel Global Ink Collective Retreat. I loved the layout's versatility and thought it was a perfect way to showcase the suite's gorgeous patterned papers and coordinating elements. It is always fun to see how many different card designs you can create from a single sketch.
For my card, I started with a textured white background that adds plenty of interest while keeping the overall look clean and classic. Layers of gold-accented Designer Series Paper create a striking focal point while delicate die-cut foliage adds softness and dimension. The gold embossed "Merry Christmas" greeting takes centre stage and ties all the elements together beautifully.
One of my favourite things about this design is how the neutral colour palette allows the textures and layers ot shine. The combination of embossed details, metallic accents and intricate die-cuts makes this card special without being overly complicated.
