Welcome to April's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is Flowers, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! This Designer Series Paper is so versatile and looks great as it is or coloured.  To colour the floral paper I used Blends, these are super easy to use and work perfectly with this DSP, especially with all the shading lines. Colouring is very therapeutic, here's how it can benefit you (according to Google!)... It relieves  stress  and reduces  anxiety .  It exercises your  brain . It trains the  brain  to focus. BE INSPIRED | LARGE SENTIMENT

Welcome to March's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is a project with a large sentiment, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.  The Pretty Perennials Stamp Set is one of my favourite. I love the large "happy". It's a great font and ties in perfectly with the smaller words. To create my card, I started by watercolouring a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour paper with Pacific Point ink, then layered up a trio of die cut butterflies from the Brilliant WIngs Dies. "Happy" was heat embossed in white, fussy cut and adhered to the card over a large Linen Thread bow. To add a little something extra to the background, I flicked some full-strength ink and also some water so I got both darker and lighter spotches.
