GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #377 | COLOUR CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a colour challenge and below is the gorgeous trio of colours we are using. I love this combination, so fresh and pretty. I created my bouquet of flowers using the Love For You Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies. The "Love You" is also from that set. I added a spattering of black ink to tie in with the black surrounding the words and in the centre of the flowers. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #376 | CASE THE DESIGNER CHALLENGE CONNIE COLLINS

Today I'm sharing my project for this week's Global Design Project challenge, we are caseing Connie Collins' gorgeous card below. I love how Connie has layered the floral die on top of the floral embossed panel - so pretty. For my card, I took inspiration from the lovely floral die cut in the middle of the card with the large sentiment over the top. I used the same floral die cut from the Artistically Dies and added the sentiment from the new Something Fancy Stamp Set and co-ordinating Something Fancy Dies. I layered it onto a blended background of Blushing Bride. I stamped the sentiment in Smoky Slate to keep the look subtle but think this would look great in any colour. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #375 | THEME CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a Theme challenge and below is our inspiration. It's hard to believe 2023 is here! I'm looking forward to a great year, spending more time with family and being able to travel more freely too! Have you got anything special planned this year? These cards were created using Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana . I chose the colours to co-ordinate with colours in the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper which is FREE in the upcoming Sale-A-Bration Brochure starting 5 January - not long to wait! Which colour combination do you prefer? I thought these little sparkler images from the Best Day Stamp Set worked perfectly for a little New Year's festivities! I added some of the Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap to add a little interest and brighten up the envelope.
