Hello and welcome to my blog. Today my card is for the latest Paper Players Colour Challenge and these just happen to be some of my favourite colours! These colours are so fresh and work perfectly together.

The flowers in the Perennial Essence Stamp Set look great in any colour, and for the lighter flowers I've stamped off in the Balmy Blue.

To create the layered look I made a mask and stamped over it. To make my mask I stamped the flowers on photocopy paper and cut it out - right to the edge. Photocopy paper is good to use as it is thin and doesn't create a gap when you stamp over it, although I do pull it back slightly over the already stamped image to help avoid this!

One card has the "Beautiful Inside and Out" sentiment from the Band Together Stamp Set stamped directly onto it, the other has been embossed with White Emboss Powder on Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. It's then die cut with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die and embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

A twist of Linen Thread and a sprinkling of Woven Threads Sequin Assortments complete my card. Now to pop my message in and post it!

It's the last day of the school holidays here so it's off for haircuts and lunch!
