I had so much fun creating these sweet little birthday cards during tonight's Facebook Live.
Using the Wild Bunch Stamp Set, I created a collection of simple square birthday cards featuring the cute animals. These whimsical images are perfect for quick cards and are so much fun to colour.
To keep the design clean and simple, I added soft ink blending behind each image along with a little coordinating splatter. The coloured backgrounds help the characters stand out while keeping the overall design fresh and uncluttered.
The Crumb Cake card bases add a lovely natural touch and provide a great contrast to the bright colours. I finished each card with a bold Happy Birthday sentiment and a few embellishments.
One of the things I love about this design is how easy it is to create a whole set of cards at once. Simply change the character and background colour, and you have a completely different look while keeping the same layout.
