BE INSPIRED | CREATING BACKGROUNDS

It's time for another Be Inspired Design Team Hop, and this month's theme is Creating Backgrounds!
Backgrounds can completely transform a card, adding texture, colour and interest while letting your focal image shine. I'm excited to share my project with you, and I can't wait to see all the creative ideas the rest of the team has come up with, too.

I created my background using the tiny floral die-cuts from the beautiful Violet Dreams Specialty Designer Series Paper. Each little flower has been carefully arranged to form a delicate, textured background, with a touch of Wink of Stella added to the centres for a subtle shimmer. To finish the design, I scattered Pearl Basic Jewels amongst the flowers. I added a soft Fresh Fressia ribbon and floral embellishment to create a card that's elegant and full of dimension.
