Hello and thanks for stopping by today. My card is for the latest Global Design Project Challenge - CASE the Designer and it is none other than the fabulous Brian King. Brian's style is very smart with clean lines and a few layers.
I've picked out Brian's layout and colour scheme to CASE.
I used the Petal Palette Stamp Set and co-ordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies. The background spots have been stamped in Powder Pink, then I've layered up some Metallic Gold Thread with the floral image on top. I stamped this in Sahara Sand after I'd stamped it off twice as I wanted a softer edge. It's been coloured with Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizzazz using a blender pen.
To create lighter areas on the flowers and leaves I used the White Stampin' Chalk Marker. Hello is from the Better Together Stamp Set and has been cut out with the Classic Label Punch.
And even though Brian's card didn't have any bling I couldn't help myself and scattered a few Iridescent Sequin around!
There's more excitement happening over at the GDP - they'll be choosing one designer from this week's challenge to be a Guest Designer on the Global Design Project for the next six months. Oh how exciting would that be!
The new 2018-19 Annual Catalogue is released tomorrow - 1 June! Lots of fabulous new products and ideas. Please contact me if you live in NZ and would like a catalogue.
Have a great weekend.
I LOVE the way you've colored these flowers, Angela! This card is gorgeous! Thanks for playing along with my CASE the Designer at GDP this week.
