Last night on my Facebook Live, I created this Christmas card using the Neutral Noel Suite, and I love how all the different textures and layers came together.
I started with the Cherry Cobbler card base and added an embossed panel using the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. To the panel, I added a strip of Designer Series Paper down the left-hand side. I love using white-on-white texture like this because it adds so much interest without taking anything away from the focal point.
For the Christmas arrangement, I layered lots of delicate white die-cut foliage with stamped pine branches and berries. I tucked everything around the Happy Christmas sentiment, letting some of the branches extend beyond the main arrangement for a relaxed, natural look.
I also added a bow using the Mossy Meadow Neutral Jute. I really like the extra texture this added.
A few small gold embellishments were the perfect finishing touch and tied in beautifully with the gold Hot Foiled Happy Christmas greeting.
There are quite a few layers on this card, but because I kept much of the foliage white, it still has a lovely light and elegant feel. The combination of deep red, white, green and those touches of gold makes this such a beautiful Christmas colour combination.
If you joined me for my Facebook Live, thank you so much for watching. I hope this card has given you a little inspiration for your own Christmas crafting!
