Last night I created this Easel Card with Drawer, and as an added feature I also demonstrated hot foiling.
There’s lots to love about this project. The easel card sits beautifully on top of the little drawer, creating a card and gift presentation all in one. I decorated it with Neutral Noel Designer Series Paper, layered foliage and pinecones, with touches of gold bringing everything together.
A Little Hot Foiling
One of the special features of this project was hot foiling. During my demonstration, I showed how I incorporated this technique into the project, adding that beautiful metallic finish that works so well for Christmas crafting.
The gold “’Tis the Season” sentiment complements the woodland-style design beautifully and gives the project an extra-special festive touch.
And, of course, there’s that little drawer underneath! Finished with a simple twine pull, it’s perfect for tucking away a small surprise or two!
