Last night on my Facebook Live, I created these little mini thank-you cards using elements from the 12 Days of Creativity Advent Calendar from Stampin' Up!
Sometimes the pre-cut pieces and embellishments included in kits can feel a little too special to use, but I love finding simple ways to turn them into beautiful handmade cards. These mini cards came together quickly and make a lovely way to send a heartfelt thank you.
For both designs, I started with a Crumb Cake base and added a layer of the soft woodgrain-style paper from the Advent Calendar. The delicate floral die-cuts provided the focal point, and I finished each card with the coordinating "thanks" sentiment and a few sequins for a touch of sparkle.
These mini cards would be perfect to tuck into a gift, pop into a bouquet of flowers, or send as a quick note to brighten someone's day.
I hope these cards inspire you to look through your craft supplies and see what treasures you can combine to create something special. Often the simplest designs are the most effective!
